The Albigny beach is the largest beach in Annecy and stretches for several hundred meters. To get there, simply walk along the Pâquier, pass in front of the Imperial Palace, and continue towards the small port of Annecy le Vieux. For your comfort, you will find: Snacks, Ice Cream Vendors, and free toilets. This beach is supervised during the day.
This beach, along with the marquisats beach, is one of the only free beaches in Annecy. The lakebed is made of sand, and the gentle slope makes it easy for young children to access the water.
