The city of Seynod is in Haute Savoie in the Rhone Alps, bordering the city of Annecy in the south west.
Seynod is today the largest municipality of the town with the incorporation of the village and Balmont and Vieugy in 1999. The population of the town is more than 20000 people that we call « seynodiens » and « seynodiennes ».
The town of Seynod stretches over 1900 hectares at an altitude of 450 to 1020 meters. The center of Seynod rises to 530 meters.
Monuments and Sights
This castle is well preserved with a round tower and a beautiful doorway surmounted by a crest from 1593 by the weapons of Pelard. It is located on a natural mound which rises to six hundred meters.
This castle is located 500 m downstream of Châteauvieux on the « route d’Aix », this fortified residence dates back to the sixteenth century, when it is acquired by the family of Regard. Its floorplan consists of a rectangular main building with two triangular towers pierced with arrow slits and on each one, an opening in the middle of an edge angle.

The auditorium of Seynod is a theater and cinema of 400 seats. It also has a large stage which allows it to adapt to all forms of entertainment possible.
