Located on the edge of the national road, Duingt beach is grassy and gently slopes down to the lake of Annecy.
Beach facilities
The facilities consist of wooden benches facing the lake. Large trees provide shade during the summer season. Swimming is allowed up to the buoys; beyond that, it is the domain of boats. The beach is free and supervised in July and August by lifeguards. For dining, a pleasant guinguette “La Petite Fringale” is located by the lake. It is open from May to September.

This beach offers a winter swimming club called “Les Lacustres.” Meetings take place on Mondays and Saturdays at 11 a.m. at the sail bay. Medical certificate required. The water temperature is around 4°C for the bravest.

The bike path passes near Duingt beach, making it a pleasant stop to cool off and picnic if you are cycling around the lake.
Important
After a few meters in the water, the lake quickly becomes quite deep at Duingt. Therefore, you must closely supervise the children.
