Tobacco Shops
- Le Tabac Presse Le France Annecy features a small bar, newsagents and a small grocery shop (food and alcohol). It is located at 22 Avenue de France, 74000 Annecy. It is open from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm on Sundays.
- Elya’s tobacconist also has a small bar, a newsagent’s and a small terrace. It is situated at 2 Rue Georges Martin, 74000 Annecy. It’s easiest to get to from Avenue Gambetta; it’s on the right-hand side, just before the roundabout by the gendarmerie. It’s open on Sundays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
- The Tabac Mag Press shop, situated at 2 Rue des Grillons in Meythet, also serves as a grocery shop and café; it is open on Sundays from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm.
- Chez Jean: Place de la Gare. Located inside the station, this small convenience shop also sells food. Open on Sundays from 9 am to 6.30 pm.
Supermarkets and hypermarkets
As for supermarkets, on Sunday mornings you’ll find all the smaller chains, such as Super U, Carrefour (Market, City) and Casino, generally open from 8 am to 12 noon. More recently, the Carrefour, Auchan and Géant Casino hypermarkets have also been opening on Sunday mornings. In the afternoon, it’s more difficult to find a shop to do your shopping.

McDonald’s
McDonald’s restaurants are open every Sunday from 9.00 am to 11.00 pm (midnight for the drive-through). There are four in the metropolitan area.
- McDonald’s Annecy: this is situated at the northern exit of the town, towards Pringy, in the Carrefour shopping centre.
- McDonald’s Sévrier: this one is situated on the D1508 towards Saint Jorioz, by the side of the road, opposite the port of Sévrier.
- McDonald’s Seynod: at the southern exit of the town, towards Aix-les-Bains, next to the Géant shopping centre.
- McDonald’s Épagny: situated in the Grand Épagny retail park, towards Frangy.
Burger King
- Burger King Centre Annecy Bonlieu: situated opposite the lake in the Bonlieu centre, open from 11 am to 11 pm.
- Burger King Cran: at the Pont Neuf, open from 11.00 am to midnight.
- Burger King Épagny: situated in the Grand Épagny shopping area, towards Frangy, open from 11.00 to midnight.
KFC
- KFC Seynod: At the southern exit of the town towards Aix-les-Bains, next to the Géant shopping centre; open from 11.00 am to 11.00 pm.
