Passy is a village of Haute-Savoie of 80.03 km ² with 11 295 inhabitants called « passerands » and « passerandes ». Located in the mountains, this village is part of the suburbs of Saint Gervais les Bains and its summit is 2880 meters.
The commune of Passy is divided into several hamlets :

- The Abbey
The city is twinned with the German city of Pfullingen
Passy has a ski resort « Plaine Joux », a synthetic soccer field, tennis courts, a swimming pool, hiking trails and scaling.
