Sévrier

Sévrier is a town located south of the city of Annecy on the banks of the western shore of the Lake of Annecy near Albertville.

The city of Sévrier covers an area of 1265 hectares at an altitude between 440 and 1280 meters and the 4500 inhabitants are called « Sevriolains » and « Sevriolaines ».

The town is a land strip between the lake and the mountain Semnoz widening down south, much of which is composed of pine forests and farmland.

Ecomuseum of the Lake of Annecy

The museum is dedicated to life in the Savoy Alps in the 19th century.
Presentation of knowledge, screening of short films, fun activities for children…
The museum is open from 1st May to 15th June and from 15 to 30th September from 2pm to 6pm in low season and from 16th June to 14th September from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm in high season.
