Chapeiry is a tiny village of just 700 inhabitants in Haute Savoie in the Rhone Alps. The village is part of the township of Alby sur Cheran and is located about ten kilometers south of Annecy next to Viuz-la-Chiesaz, Montagny-les-Lanches, Vieugy and Seynod. The inhabitants are called « Chapeiriens » and « Chapeiriennes ». The village covers 5.76 square kilometers at 600 meters altitude on average.

Eglise Saint-Martin

The Carolingian church has a steeple, a pre-romanesque chancel arch from the 13th century, and carved baptismal bottom.
